NEW DPMS G2 RECON .308 MOE RIFLE.

The DPMS G2 series is the lightest, most reliable, most technically advanced .308 Winchester modern sporting rifle available. DPMS went back to the drawing board and designed a .30 caliber AR the way customers demanded it. Rearward of the receiver, the rifle is dimensioned identically to an AR-15. This means the entire rifle is lighter, more compact, and easier to haul around.

Multiple improvements to the bolt and carrier group were implemented as well. A reduced diameter carrier further decreases weight, and the integral gas key is bombproof. Dual ejector springs improve ejection remarkably. and the redesigned extractor and elastomer spring will last for tens of thousands of rounds without replacement.

The 16″ GII Recon is just as battle ready as the original .308 Recon, but weighing less means you can run it at your next high round count carbine course without needing to bulk up your upper body first. A 30% reduction in weight, 16″ stainless steel bead blasted barrel, DPMS hunter gas block, 4 rail free-float tube, and MagPul MOE pistol grip and stock make the G2 Recon a complete package.
